About our courses
Bioinformatics and data analysis skills are now an essential requirement for the vast majority of experimentalists. We offer training in a wide variety of areas, targeted at post-graduate researchers, students and staff. Our courses are designed for researchers of all backgrounds who may be new to computational analysis.
We are in the process of migrating our training into an online format, accessible through the 'Data Analysis Group - Training' organisation in MyDundee.
The training modules are primarily video-led, allowing participants to work through them at their own speed, at a time appropriate to them, and also readily allows material to be revisited. These are supported by our drop-in sessions to provide 1:1 support with any aspects of the material covered.
All staff and Postgraduate research students within the Schools of Life Science and the School of Medicine should be able to access these through MyDundee with their normal UoD credentials. If you do not have access, or have any queries, please contact cb-dag@dundee.ac.uk
The series of module dependencies are illustrated in the diagram below. Full details on each module are available by clicking on the module in the figure. Please note that not all modules are currently available via MyDundee, but will be gradually added as we work through them.
