Funding Model
The DAG has historically been funded through grants from the Wellcome Trust (including the funding of two posts through the Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression), the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).
We have now moved to a mixed funding model consisting of a combination of collaborative grant-funded projects, and working on projects which are recharged under an hourly charge-out rate, in addition to support from the School of Life Sciences.
